Wonderful Benedictine monastery, originally from 1066. The fortress-like appearance is a later addition from the late 15th century. There is an original alabaster statuette inside. Massive thanks to the local chap who showed me around! Must see if you like architecture.

Stunning Romanesque church, remodelled in 15th century to become a fortified crenellated castle, has a big circular window over the door for lobbing out hot oil, water, lead or bricks onto any attackers. There is a small cafe in the square which gives a wonderful view of the rear and of the square....

Very beautifully restored monastery, older than color tv and maybe even oil paintings. There's a nice German lady living next to it. Make sure she's not bothered too much by all the touristic noise ;)
